Ashley Holstrom is a professional book person who likes to yap about books and mental health whenever she can. She manages eBook production for a midsize publisher by day and writes around the internet by night. She’s currently working on her first book—a blended memoir about scoliosis—and her essay in (Don’t) Call Me Crazy, an anthology for young adults, focuses on trichotillomania. Her newsletter, Crooked Reads, is a monthly(ish) collection of three bite-sized book reviews, fitting to a theme.
Ashley lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, cats named after Hemingway and Asimov, and books sorted by color.
